“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” – Matthew 28:19–20
Who We Are
At The Well Church, the Mission and Outreach Department serves as a powerful extension of the church’s commitment to the Great Commission, reaching into prisons, high schools, universities, and communities with the life-transforming message of Jesus Christ.
Rooted in the call of Matthew 28:19–20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you,” this ministry boldly steps beyond the church walls to meet people where they are—whether behind bars, in classrooms, or on the streets. In prisons, the team brings hope and restoration to those seeking a second chance, inspired by Hebrews 13:3, “Remember those in prison as if you were together with them.”
In schools and universities, they encourage and equip young people to walk in their God-given purpose, guided by 1 Timothy 4:12, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers.”
The outreach efforts are not just acts of service but spiritual assignments, carried out in obedience to Isaiah 61:1, “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor… to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives.” Through prayer, teaching, and compassionate outreach, the department seeks to see lives transformed, chains broken, and the love of Christ made known to all.
